Borderhall: a collaborative solution for the Mexican-American border

“Border Wall?” I thought you said Borderhall!

A few weeks ago, Donald Trump asked for submissions for a way to secure our southern border with Mexico. While taller fences make for better neighbors, I think getting to know our neighbors will do more for our shared security. So I decided to submit to the president my design. Borderhall is a monumental architectural feature spanning the entire length of the US/Mexico border. The feature functions as outdoor furniture, providing a congregational space for Americans and Mexicans alike to engage in cultural, personal, and economic exchange. A social destination, an international monument, and a meeting place, designed with the intent of creating a more cooperative society. Check it out!
